Olive Telecom unveils 3G tablet in India

New Delhi: Olive Telecom has launched OlivePad VT100, India's first 3.5G tablet. Designed as a multi functional device, OlivePad runs on Google Android Operating System and supports 3.5G HSUPA, Wi-fi and Bluetooth.

With an in-built 3 megapixel camera and a front camera, Olive Pad can be used as a touch notebook for browsing, multimedia, instant messaging and social networking, GPS for maps and turn by turn directions, gaming console and also as e-book reader and TV. It is also a smartphone allowing voice and video calling.

Other features on OlivePad include flash support and mini USB port. OlivePad will hit retail stores across the country in August.

Unveiling the new tablet, David Hind, CEO, Olive Telecom, Americas said, “We are excited to launch the much awaited OlivePad in India.
